Think Co (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us by phone, email, or a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything else you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this site we collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the site or search that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
We process your personal information to respond to your enquiry, to provide services you have asked for, to manage our relationship with you, to understand how this site is used so we can improve it, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We process your information on the basis of your consent, where we need it to enter into or perform a contract with you, to comply with the law, or for our legitimate business interests where those interests do not override your rights.
Marketing
We only send marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them or where you are an existing customer and the message relates to a similar service. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time by clicking it or by emailing tevan@thinkco.co.za.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to make it work properly and to measure how it is used. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only so far as they need it to do their work. These currently include:
- Google, for website analytics
- Zoho, for customer relationship management
- Our website hosting provider, for storing and serving this site
- Our email provider, for sending and receiving correspondence
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Information sent outside South Africa
Some of the providers above store information on servers outside South Africa. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information receives a level of protection comparable to that required by POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer information for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to or for as long as we may need it to defend a legal claim. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, and unlawful processing. This includes restricted access, encrypted connections to this website, and regular backups. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading, or obtained unlawfully, to object to our processing of your information, to withdraw consent where our processing relies on it, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
To exercise any of these rights, email tevan@thinkco.co.za. We will respond within a reasonable period. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at https://inforegulator.org.za.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
